What is the best estimate to replace a head gasket, for a honda?
I have a 1991 Honda Civic, and i believe that the head gasket is blown. I am just curious to know what is a good estimate of the cost to fix this problem. I know nothing about cars, and i dont really want to get screwed over by a mechanic on the cost.

Then you are looking at average of 5 hours for labor.
Use that 5 hours with the above link for your labor cost, that will be an average.
Then around 100 bucks for parts and fluids.
The shop will want to have the head checked for cracks and if fine then have it surface planed for trueness. anywhere from 50 to 100 bucks for that.
so that gives you an idea of what to look forward to.
